Under the hood, the 12XPC shares the same drum assembly and feed system as its bigger sibling, so you get proven reliability in a more compact package. Engine options run up to 84 horsepower, while a lighter infeed, reduced axle size, and smaller tires trim the overall footprint compared to the 12XP. The result is a machine that tows with less fuss and fits the job site without the bulk.

Weighing in at approximately 5,100 pounds, the unit rides on a single 6,000-pound axle with 15-inch tires - more than enough capacity for dependable towing behind a truck or trailer. There's no hydraulic winch here, and that's intentional: fewer components mean lower cost, simpler maintenance, and a more straightforward machine that does exactly what it's built to do.

Feeding is handled by Bandit's proven slide-box system with twin feed wheels, which grab each limb and pull it in while compressing it for a steady, even cut. Crews that want to move even faster can add the optional hydraulic lift cylinder, which boosts down pressure on the feed wheels, cuts down on chainsaw prep work, and makes the feeding process feel almost effortless.

A powerful dual feed wheel system generates abundant pulling power to pull and compress material into the chipper. To assist with down pressure, two adjustable side mounted spring can generate over 400 pounds of down pressure, reducing the need to trim or re-position material. For added down pressure a hydraulic lift cylinder is available as an option.

A durable 24" diameter x 18 3/4" wide four-knife drum is standard with the fabricated components backed by a 5-year "GUTS" warranty. This efficient drum turns at a slower RPM, providing increased torque for enhanced chipping capabilities. With four knives, there are more cutsper revolution increasing efficiency.

To simplify the feeding process, a wide profile 30 ¾" high x 54" wide infeed hopper with 30" fold down infeed pan is standard. The large infeed provides a robust platform for feeding multiple stems or brushy material at one time.
