With the exception of a feed wheel that pivots in the other way to allow it to be near to the chipper disc, the Bandit® Model 75XP has all the features and choices of the well-liked Model 65XP, minimizing the possibility that smaller bits would wedge or bind the feed system. This machine is one of the more productive ones in its size range because of its throat opening, which measures 7" high by 12" wide. Its breadth is almost twice as large as most rivals' in this range.
Select from Briggs 35 horsepower or Kohler 25 or 37 horsepower gas engines. The unit comes with a normal 2,200-pound axle, but an optional 3,500-pound axle with 14-inch tires may give it a more formidable appearance.
A 24.95 CID hydraulic motor powers a single rotating top feed wheel, which makes up the feed system. With approximately 550 pounds of down pressure provided by down pressure springs on either side of the feed wheel, the 75XP can readily draw and compress material into the chipper. An additional improvement to the machine's processing capacity for limby debris and tiny trees is a broad profile infeed hopper.
