The Model 255XP is a 15" capacity disc-style chipper featuring a similar feed system to the Model 250XP but with feed wheels that are 25". The additional width of the feed wheels helps to draw and compress material into the chipper even further. The 255XP will efficiently chop material with a wider diameter while using less horsepower and fuel, much like all disc chippers.
(2) Strong twin feed wheels with a pulling capacity of 4,480 pounds are powered by 32.3 CID hydraulic motors. The typical hydraulic lift cylinder compresses and smashes debris with ease, which lessens the need for chainsaw labor. Included as standard is a 64" wide wide profile infeed with a fold-down tray. An optional solid tray with a sturdy rim is advised for increased longevity.
Engine choices for gas and diesel range from 120 to 174 horsepower. The 255XP is a fantastic choice in the 15" chipper class because of all of these options.
