The purpose of the Beast® Model 1680XP, which has an 18" high by 52" wide mill aperture, is to provide sawmills, recycling yards, municipalities, and tree services with an affordable on-site wood and trash processing equipment for processing undesired debris. Both a Caterpillar 321 and a Cummins 326 horsepower engine are offered as powerplant options. The Model 1680XP weighs around 31,500 pounds and is very small.
The big 36" cuttermill with 26 teeth cuts material with reduced horsepower and fuel consumption during grinding. To appropriately process and size material, a large range of tooth and screen choices are offered. The machine has a single, easily replaceable screen that can be taken out from the side.
While material is pulled into the mill by the 16" diameter feed wheel, loading brush, logs, and trees is made simple by the enormous 12' 9" x 52" infeed hopper. A wireless radio remote control with tether backup controls all grinding actions, and a 26' 4" height adjustable discharge offers a stacking height of 14' 3".
